Tropical Rayz & perfectTAN Design WIDE BODY Frame Pro Model Features

This is our WIDE BODY Frame in the trendy Tropical Rayz design pictured at the left and the perfectTAN model pictured at the right. The bed dimensions are 85.5" x 44" utilizes the perfect tan wide body vhr tanning bed Octagon shape or "tunnel technology" which offers side-tanning capability and comfort for even the largest body type.

Each model comes standard with Cosmedico's Cosmolux 160 Watt VHR* (140 Watt 59" lamps in models with facial lamps) in the canopy and 160 Watt Cosmedico Cosmolux VHR* lamps in the bench which gives this WIDE BODY VHR* design the distinction of it's name.

This tanning bed is your "third tier" unit or an upgrade from the Standard & BIG frame models. It also completes the "Super" or "Turbo" class of beds (10 minute session times). You can choose from 35-46 lamps and up to 4 facial lamps in this spacious tanning bed. The number and type of lamps you choose determines the maximum exposure time. WITHIN the same wide body frame you may choose from 35 lamps with 15 minute max exposure all the way up to 46 lamps with 10 minute maximum exposure. See prices and specifications for more details.

It is important to point out this bed and the perfectTAN models are built exactly the same with the only exception being the colorful Tropical Rayz splash designs.

There are five "standard" Tropical Rayz designs to choose from in the WIDE BODY VHR* design:

All metal construction, Cosmedico VHR* (Very High Reflective) power lamps which employ a patented reflective surface painted on the inside of the lamp which reflects UV light projecting away from the body back into the tanning bed, and tunnel technology design for the most efficient tanning, are all present in the WIDE BODY VHR* model, ensuring 15 years of profitability for your salon (compared to a 5 year life span for plastic beds bolted to steel frames). Our indoor tanning salon equipment employs a reflective system so precise that it is only 1% away from delivering a perfect mirror image, i.e. the tanning lamp's effective output is almost 100%, and the tan is darker and faster!

Tropical Rayz uses only the most dependable wire connection system on the market, the "Cage Clamp", this practice alone can save a salon from costly service calls and down time, given the fact that the cause of most service calls is related to poor connections.

This WIDE BODY frame design comes standard with three integrated body coolers, plus a whisper quiet cooling system. The innovative Octagonal Tunnel design not only produces total body coverage for a better tan, it provides unsurpassed roominess for the largest customers.

3. Prices above do NOT include shipping, due to rapidly increasing fuel costs, we must give you a custom quote for shipping. For ballpark estimates: the Southeast US is about $200 per bed, Northeast US $225, Midwest US $250, West Coast $300. Of course, shipping prices go down with multiple bed orders and we have 3 levels of shipping and delivery to choose from: tailgate, lift gate, and inside factory assisted.

4. The tanning bed bulbs installed in our wide body frame style are Cosmedico Light Company's* VHR Reflector Series VHR9K90 160W lamps which have only a 1.8% UVB and display the characteristics of a true "bronzing" lamp. WARNING! These tanning bed bulbs should only be used by customers who already have a base tan established or no results will occur.

5. With regards to electrical requirements, these wide body frame style beds can be pre-wired at the factory for "single" or "three" phase power and the Amps 1 and Amps 3 above indicate the "operating amps" or "draw" and the second number is the recommended breaker size.
